Rooftop solar plant in Cournon-d'Auvergne, the Chaîne des Puys in the background

Carré de la Garenne — 4.5 MWp on a rooftop

Built by JR Énergie — the largest rooftop plant in the Auvergne region.

Our partner installer

JR Énergie, the EPC that installs and operates.

A family company founded in 2016 in Cournon-d'Auvergne by Jean Renard, after more than thirty years at EDF. EPC — design, supply, construction — and integrator: solar, storage, charging points, and the operation that follows. From homes to multi-megawatt logistics rooftops, with in-house teams, across France.

The trade

A single point of contact, from study to operation.

That is the definition of an integrated EPC: the design office, the installation crews, the administrative procedures and operation are all under one roof. The project never changes hands.

01

Site survey & yield study

On-site surveys, drone if needed, analysis of the roof and the needs, sizing by the in-house design office.

02

Planning procedures

Prior declaration or permit: the team prepares and follows the file with the local authority.

03

Installation and commissioning

In-house, trained and qualified installation crews — from roof reinforcement to energisation.

04

Consuel

The certificate attesting the electrical installation's conformity and authorising energisation.

05

Enedis grid connection

Application, follow-up and contracting of the grid connection, handled on the customer's behalf.

06

Operation, monitoring, maintenance

Real-time remote supervision, anomaly detection, maintenance at every power level — throughout the asset's life.

The integrator

The whole roof, from a single hand.

Solar never comes alone. JR Énergie also installs storage batteries — now offered systematically with the plants —, charging points, and modernises existing installations (repowering).

And when the roof itself needs redoing, the sister company JP2R takes it on: AFNOR-certified asbestos removal, roof replacement, frame reinforcement. One site, one responsibility.

What it changes for a BESS project

  • The same EPC installs the solar plant and the storage: one schedule, one guarantee of proper execution.
  • Operation and monitoring are already in place — the battery joins a supervision that already exists.
  • Maintenance covers every power level, from residential to multi-megawatt sites.

The reference

Carré de la Garenne: 4.5 MWp installed in two phases on logistics rooftops, grid-connected and delivered as collective self-consumption to businesses and local authorities in Cournon and Aubière. The plant is visible from the company's offices.

And for your project

The one who installs, in a trio that answers for everything.

JR Batteries designs and structures your storage asset, RelyEZ builds it — and JR Énergie installs and then operates it, as it has done since 2016 for more than 1,500 plants. Three houses, a single chain of responsibility.
